First, go to the vet for an exam. The condition of the skin and the skin can sometimes indicate an illness. The veterinarian is a special shampoo for dandruff. It can still seem worse at first, but keep dandruff under control.
My old cat had sold a kidney problem and the vet shampoo. I took the hose and ran into the back. She loved the feeling of suction and does not mind noise at all. I know that many cats do not go for that, but I helped to remove hair shed. Only looked better, but played no role in solving the problem.
